Erlend himalde Jonsson

Erlend himalde Jonsson lived in the 12th century and was the son of Jon the Strong and grandson of Jorunn Torbergsdatter from Giske. He is known as the father of Archbishop Øystein Erlendsson in Nidaros, today's Trondheim. Little more is known about him. Through him the line from Giske continues to the archbishopric in Nidaros.
