Torbjørn Arnesson is mentioned as one of the five sons of Arne Arnmodsson at Giske in Arnmœðlinga tal, the genealogy of the Arnmødlings. He was thus the brother of Kalv, Finn, Torberg and Arne Arnesson, and lived in the 11th century. Nothing more is known about him, while his brothers are central to the sagas of Olaf the Holy and Harald Hardrada.
