Fru Inger receives 120 lodd of silver for Jørgen Pedersen
DN 9/742 · 7 January 1534 · Stenviksholm
Fru Inger, who held Giske for a time, acts here as collector for Jørgen Pedersen. The receipt was written on the same day as she settled several other matters with the archbishop, and does not concern the Giske estate.
What the letter says
Fru Ingerd Ottesdatter of Austrått declares at Stenviksholm on 7 January 1534 that on behalf of Jørgen Pedersen she has received 120 lodd of silver from Archbishop Olav. The silver was payment for 180 mark which the archbishop owed Jørgen. She releases the archbishop from further claims and promises to send him the bond he had given Jørgen.
The letter in modern English
I, Ingerd Ottesdatter of Austrått, acknowledge that I have collected and received on behalf of the honourable and well-born squire Jørgen Pedersen, from the most reverend father and lord, Lord Olav, by God's grace Archbishop of Trondheim and legate of the papal see, 120 lodd of silver [one lodd is c. 15 grams] for 200 mark less 20 mark [that is, 180 mark], which his grace owed the said Jørgen Pedersen. And I declare the said lord archbishop, on the said Jørgen Pedersen's behalf, quit and free of all further suit for the said money in every way. And I will at the very first opportunity send the said lord archbishop the letter which his grace gave the said Jørgen Pedersen for this, so that he shall be held harmless in every way. Written at Stenviksholm on 7 January in the year of Christ 1534 under my signet. [On the back:] Jørgen Pedersen.

Background
In October 1533 Jørgen Pedersen had authorised fru Inger and Nils Lykke to collect the money, and this is the receipt showing that the task was done. The sum shows that 1 ½ mark were reckoned equal to 1 lodd of silver in Trøndelag in 1534, and that mark here was a unit of account for money. The bond had to be returned, as otherwise the creditor could claim the money again. The receipt was written on the same day as the large receipt for 1000 lodd of silver, so fru Inger seems to have settled several matters with the archbishop at once.
