Nikolas Pålsson Kuvung

Nikolas Pålsson Kuvung, died 1217, was lendmann (the king's landed vassal) at Giske in the civil war era and son of Pål Skoftesson. He is the last of the Giske family about whom the sagas tell much. He has also been proposed as the builder of the marble church on Giske, but no source confirms it. After him Giske passed to his son Pål Flida.
